Anyone have any idea why the piece would need an arranger?
As I indicated just before the concert, on the first page of the topic : Adjustments to accommodate minor differences in orchestra size (1 vs 2 harps, for instance).
Thanks for the share. Are there any updates on the planned associated media for this event (CD/DVD/Book)? I'd love to have these works in my Horner CD collection.
There’s never been a plan to release the Szcecin concert on DVD or Blu-Ray. It’s only been expressed as a wish by members of the film music community and somehow this has evolved into an assumption that a DVD/Blu-Ray is in fact on the way. What we have said is that we hope to make as much as possible from Szczecin available in some form. We explored the possibilities of a CD release, but due to factors outside of our control it’s unlikely to happen.
That doesn’t mean we’ve given up on releasing an album, but it will not be of the Szcecin-concert.
