“Arrival at Daedalus” really is a gem!
I listened to the sample and it caught my attention as well! It's a short cue but has a lot of wonderfully sparkling Williams flourishes. I haven't been able to sit through the movie because I find it quite silly, but if I was more familiar with the whole score I would definitely have been missing "Arrival at Daedalus", so I'm glad it has been included!
Does this mean all of the score in the film is now covered by this release?

Who here *liked* having Roger Feigelson of Intrada here on this board, answering questions about Intrada releases and engaging with us film music fans?
Now who here is GLAD he recently left (thanks in large part to HalloweenBorg)? Do please raise your hands, all of you!
Who here thinks MV and Roger and other label folks being here is a good thing, a positive contribution to this conversation space (to say nothing of all the fine releases they have put out for us to enjoy over the years, preserving this great music on album for posterity)?
Now how many people here -- don't be shy -- think that HalloweenBorg contributes something of value to this forum of discussion, with his oh-so-witty comments?
IF enough people agree with me that he is a toxic presence on this board, who ruins and derails almost every thread he participates in, making bullying comments towards people for his own amusement and then feigning innocence on a regular basis -- SIMPLY REPORT HIS POSTS to David Sones, the moderator -- the "Report Abuse" button is there on every post if you're signed in. If enough people complain and ask for him to be banned, he'll be gone and darken our doorstep no more -- that's what happened with Bruce Marshall, who as far as I could see was more of a nuisance than an outright bully. It's easy enough for me to block him personally so I don't see his attacks on me (although I see his nasty comments whenever someone else quotes him, unfortunately). But that doesn't save the FSM board, itself, from becoming just that much more of a miserable place to try and discuss film music. If you find him amusing and want him to stick around, fine. Roger Feigelson isn't the first label representative who swore off coming here because of the constant negativity, and he won't be the last if this keeps up. Decide whose presence here adds more to the knowledge and discussion of film music, and act accordingly.
Oh, and by the way, about my taxes...

^^^ This is bullying and abuse, plain and simple. As Schiffy pointed out it's a non sequitur answer to my point about the labels having to raise prices because they themselves have to deal with rising costs and inflation (which no one here has refuted, including Mr. Borg.) But it's also an outright lie, merely designed to provoke me, which is why I did my best to ignore it up until now even though other people quoted the comment.
To set the record straight here: I never ever said I was "having major tax issues" which makes it sound like I'm in trouble with the federal government/IRS. I simply shared that I was currently broke, as a result of having received a much-larger-than-expected tax bill. Now, a human being would see that comment and maybe sympathize/empathize. I'm sure many people here have had a similar experience from time to time, whether it's a tax bill or a hospital bill or whatever. HalloweenBorg sees that comment as an excuse to bully, just as he did a few posts above with MV in this thread.
No doubt HalloweenBorg has another nasty answer ready and waiting to answer this post of mine. He seems so desperate for me to acknowledge his existence even though I've blocked him, and I certainly already regret giving him the satisfaction of my attention. But everyone here -- ask yourselves what kind of place you want the FSM board to be? Do you want HalloweenBorg to set the tone here? Because he will, if he's allowed to. If you don't want that, hit the "Abuse" button. He won't know and turn his sights on you next, because only the moderator David Sones gets that notification.

I'm very sorry to hear Roger left, I didn't know that. I hope he comes back.
