With the Johnny Depp trial going on I have been re-watching the Pirates of the Caribbean films and note there is an opportunity for expansion here.

Has anyone heard any rumours of any possible expanded/deluxe treatment here? Particularly with the original trilogy.

Paul.

I certainly haven’t heard anything about potential expansions for the original Pirates films. And honestly, I don’t trust Disney to do an expansion properly after the debacle with Hunchback (unless of course, they let Intrada do it).

I would also welcome a complete "PotC", but there are some scores, which I like to have more urgent, for example "Blackbeard`s Ghost", a better version from the 1967's "The Jungle Book" and "The Love Bug". Unfortunately Disney seems to be quiet uncooperative currently, because Intrada hasn't released a Disney soundtrack for a while. What's going on? I always thought Intrada and Disney have a good relationship.

Apparently the judge in the court case demanded an expanded boxed set of all the soundtracks when the final verdict was handed down.
