Your wish is my command, Howard. Jeff Goldblum was far from the only notable artist of the silver screen to share residence here with me at the Chateau des Fleurs. I speak of such up-and-comers as Ted Danson, just beginning his first season of CHEERS, and Alexander Payne, who gave me a one-line role in his UCLA thesis film, THE PASSION OF MARTIN. Unlike budding soon-to-be famous neighbors Goldblum, Danson and Payne, a young lady named Lisa De Leeuw was already well-established in her chosen field when she came to live across the hall from me, but she in her own way was also an up and comer. She was one of the foremost porn stars of the 1980's.

What's that you say, Howard? You want to hear more about my neighbor Lisa? Very well. I'll never forget the time Deborah, one of my other neighbors, was walking with me in the corridor. As we passed Lisa's door, we heard the unmistakable sounds of passion emanating from within. Deborah and I looked at each other, and Deborah said, "She must be going over her lines."
