I've seen art for this movie around, didn't realise it was the new Elfman joint. Is this what FORBIDDEN ZONE 2 morphed into?

Elfman was actively working on FZ2 at one point, had a crowdfunding campaign, Danny did some music for it, but haven't heard anything for a while. Thought it might have been rewritten into this.

What's it like? Orchestral? Synth? Songs? The CD is available on Amazon UK but it's pretty expensive at the moment. I'm hoping Intrada and such like will stock some copies.

Got my copy in the mail, so fun!! No booklet, but it's oppressed CD (!!) I just got this finally. No booklet at ALL -- just a single insert with the cover art and white backside. But wow, even worse -- the back side track listing actually cuts off some of the track titles! Tracks 14, 18, 22, 25 and 28 all use elipsis instead of showing the actual full length of the track titles (which you can find on a digital version). On top of that, the record label seems to be "Elfmaniac Media" which is listed no where as well, rather implying that it's "MVDaudio" which appears to be the distributor (going by its website) and in general the whole thing feels like a cheap homebrew release. General lack of credits, though the whole thing seems to be synth outside of the singing (which I assume is Ego Plum himself) Great music though. But really weird release.

With the exception of FORBIDDEN ZONE and SHRUNKEN HEADS (both CDs are now fairly difficult to find, I think), Richard Elfman's works have had tricky soundtrack situations. MODERN VAMPIRES only got a small promo release for friends and family (I was fortunate to know his girlfriend at the time, who sent me a CD-R copy), and that's about it. I don't think FORBIDDEN ZONE 2 got a soundtrack release at all (I'm not even sure the film managed to reach out beyond limited theatres?). In any case, regardless of how the CD of ALIENS, CLOWNS AND GEEKS looks and appears, I still need to get it for completist reasons.

When I saw the heading I thought you were describing fsmers, in general.

At 62 minutes of zany MARS ATTACKS/PEE-WEE style madness, it can feel a bit samey overall, so I played through this CD a few times and took these cues away as a fair over-view of the score as a whole (in other words...I whittled it some)... 1. Main Title – Danny Elfman 4. Dream Sequence – Danny Elfman 8. Love Is in the Air/Love Theme – Ego Plum & Danny Elfman 9. A Pleasant Drive/The Gangster – Ego Plum 12. Love Theme – Danny Elfman 13. Stupid Love Machine – Ego Plum 15. Clown Theme – Danny Elfman 20. Alien Theme – Danny Elfman 25. Clown Theme, Part 2/Beezel-Chug Redux – Danny Elfman & Ego Plum 28. Fritz on the Fritz – Danny Elfman & Ego Plum 34. Waiting and Waiting – Ego Plum 35. Mom Attacks!/Ramon Attacks! – Ego Plum 36. Alien Theme Reprise – Danny Elfman & Ego Plum 39. Preparing for Battle – Ego Plum 41. Aliens, Clowns & Geeks! – Ego Plum 42. Alien VS Clown Finale! – Danny Elfman & Ego Plum 43. Eddie, Oh Eddie! – Ego Plum 44. Eddie Does What He Has to Do! – Danny Elfman & Ego Plum 45. Epilogue – Ego Plum TT Run Time = 27 mins (approx)
