Chances of a reissue are really slim because the film is now owned by WB and if they don't come around on their licensing deals and be more sensible not much is going to be coming out of that watertower vault in the near future unless it's a project already in perpetuity. MV Is that what's been making Goldsmith's Supergirl so impossible to get licensed? If not, what's the deal with that? Curious. Thanks in advance.

Thank you everyone. And Kev, I might take the plunge we’ll see. The LLL presentation seems to be better organized than the promo that’s for sure. The differences in prices in the used CD market though are a killer! Ray, I listened to Freedom. That is a great track too. I am bummed I missed out on this score back when it was released. I was late to the party for sure.

I guess I’m stuck in the dilemma of the movie poster’s slogan. “If you want the ultimate. You’re going to have to pay the ultimate price.” Damn. lol.

Playing my CD of this now...first time in quite a while. It's quite a dreamy score, like a really nice version of THE HITCHER, with its silky electronics wafting in and out of Isham's newly found orchestral chops. It kinda straddles the line between electronic and orchestral, with lots of Isham's little quirks and stylings - from his earlier non-score albums - on display. I must admit, I enjoyed this listening way more than I ever remembered it. It can sometimes be just about the mood you're in and timing of the event. Skydive is amazing and I mentioned this to Isham when I spoke at length with him for an FSM interview a few years back. He was great to talk to.

Ahhhh, that must be track 14 on my edition, titled 'Formation Skydiving'. 5 minutes of floating brilliance. One of Isham's best cues IMO and an amazing sequence in the film. It's like modern impressionism insofar as how he constructs the music. Really nice harmonies and textures.
