Hey everyone, just wanted to ask the FSM brain trust if the description of this film rings home with anyone?
"The setting was a rural house that had a group of people living together (kind of commune style), there was a police strike and they were attacked by people wearing masks and had to defend themselves, in the end it was police officers who were the attackers. Things I think I know - set in Australia, maybe came out in the 80's, not sure if it was just a made for TV movie. Odd scenes I remember...a woman giving a baby a bath in the kitchen sink while doing dishes, a mirrored medicine chest in the bathroom that opened into the room behind it that someone used to escape through."
I wasn't able to find anything that matched - I got results for two different films, a Cdn film called Siege, and 1985 film called Fortress - but I don't think either of them are it. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know what it is but I certainly want to watch it.
Confirmed that the above two movies weren't it - and they don't have any other details. They sad it may have also been a South African or New Zealand setting based on the accents, but she was very young when she saw it - which is part of the problem with human memory - sometimes we mis-remember things.

I saw Picnic at Hanging Rock at a young age, and another film where teens get stranded while rock climbing, and a girl ends up on a ledge on a cliff face with a broken leg. The two merged in my memory and it wasn't until years later, when I saw Picnic again, that I realized they were different films. Still have no idea what the second one was.
