Hey Ford Thank you so much for these great Albert Glasser scores. Genre scores are pretty far and few but you released the last one only a few months back. Enjoying immensely. Just wondering being that Buysoundtrax released a few Hammer horror film scores over 10 years ago, any possibility of some more being released. I know that there are not that many but I believe Dr Jekyll & Sister Hyde and Countess Dracula were supposed to have survived. Meantime thanks again for these great Glasser scores!
On a similar topic... I was just watching the MST3K episode for "Last of the Wild Horses" and forgot that they made an Albert Glasser joke during the credits... When Glasser's credit comes up, they comment "The man who likes to hold you down and pummel you with music"!
I’m surprised that Dragon’s Domain was able to get Glasser’s score for “The Amazing Colossal Man” out on C.D. considering that the state of James Nicholson won’t let the feature film be put out on D.V.D., M.O.D. D.V.D.-R. or Blu ray and only the main title was put out on the Starlog L.P. “The Fantastic Film Music Of Albert Glasser”. It’s one of the scores that Glasser took great pride in discussing (though in his Filmfax interview his last question he stated he loved ALL of his film scores!).
Just got a message from Screen Archives saying this release has been canceled or indefinitely postponed.
Could the estate of James Nicholson have been the reason, considering, aside a V.H.S. release, there's no D.V.D., M.O.D. D.V.D.-R. or Blu ray release which is preventing the score from getting released?

Meaning his wife, Susan Hart who sues anyone in sight for using video or audio or music from a handful of movies her husband made. She nixed some Ronald Stein releases from Percepto Records by suing Stein's widow Harlene Stein for licensing his music, from his own music library.
But if you ordered BSX's Glasser V5, you should have received the audio downloads immediately.

Did Sawtell & Shefter's Dog of Flanders disappear from Kronos Records because of a similar lawsuit situation?

Kronos' email to customers said it was postponed indefinitely. I inquired at the time but he didn't reply. We can assume he had the music recording. If there was a factory delay, that was resolved afew months later when he released a different title. What else besides a legal conflict would continue to hold it back?
The only question - why? She really think that's this 11 B-movies are interesting for billions of people, so she can ask billions of dollars for releasing them? Or she thinks that they are so awful, that nobody should ever see them?

Or like Richard LaSalle's widow, she's doing it out of spite.
