My CD arrived today from Intrada. Looking forward to playing it tomorrow. Had to order it from there after repeated "There was a problem with our checkout" messages. I see another contributor above has also had the same problem with making a PayPal payment. Fortunately PayPal payment to Intrada for the same item was no problem. Question: Is the download and digital booklet not available to those who ordered from, say, SAE or Intrada?

I'd suggest you contact Paypal directly and ask them why your payment was declined

It’s odd. I made two other purchases straight after from two other vendors and no issues at all. No issues since then with either payment method. Perhaps a regional (based in UK) browser problem, though this would be the first time I’ve ever encountered one. Will give it another few days then try again.
CD arrived today after the sad announcement of ALBERT GLASSER v5 cancelation.
Fantastic score HOWEVER, BSX could you PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE reduce the size of your BOOKLETS enough to allow them to slide easily in and out of the case???? Once pulled out, they are a struggle to slide back in without mangling it.
Sorry to go off the topic of ordering problems, but let me say I just listened to this and it's a terrific release! Frequently dissonant but also eerily beautiful, and substantial in a way too few scores feel these days. I'm a John Scott fan, and this is another solid entry from him, a score I'd never heard of before. Recommended.
First listen from me today. After hearing it via the Fishman suite on YouTube (linked above), the CD is a very different affair. It's a lot...prettier than I imagined. And the sound on the CD is great. Really clear. That's not to say it is missing the unease or discord (very TWILIGHT ZONE TV Series to these ears), but there are also lots of lovely small-scale pastoral cues, alongside the tension and spook. And some of the very atonal moments do remind me of IMAGES by John Williams (odd string/percussion/voice effects). Great stuff though. Highly recommended.
