Cant wait to order this tonight! Loved this new season and loved the score for this year!
There was specially a track I really loved while binging the show, the final cue from episode 6 (edit: looks like its two cues actually: "Miyagi’s Room" and "All of Us")
The composers have "assured" me that it is of course features on the new OST! big grin

Really moving what these two have been writing for the series.

I pounced on this, as I have the others in this series.

The composers don't get nearly enough credit. They've paid homage to Conti. They introduced several new, memorable themes. And their music encompasses many styles.

Like the show itself, their music is playful and serious at the same time. They're a big part of the show's success.

I'm glad, we still have four episodes to go, I don't want to be tempted to look at the cues for potential spoilers (even semi).

Liked this 5th season, the situations continue repetitive and forced but the humor works and the last two chapters are great.
My issue with the music is that the “classic/barroque” Tery Silver music that Conti used in Karate KID III and that was used for his victory at the end of Cobra Kai Season IV is never used in Season V. For me it was perfect for the Silver character and I missed it.

I also wonder why they never use the Silver theme from Karate Kid 3! Its amazing!
Was it actually used in Cobra? Do you remember which cue (if it was ever released, that is).

It was briefly used (to great effect) at the end of Season 4 (clip below - spoiler alert) [tracking of the Karate Kid III cue, not in the Cobra Kai album]:

Oh thats true! Thanx for the clip!

I do wonder though why they dont use it more. He and his evil persona is so heavily used in both season 4 and 5.
And it seems like the composers have never even touched it...except of course tracking the Conti score.
Maybe there's some sort of rights issue or something that we dont know about...

For me the theme always sounded like a pastiche of The Four Seasons, Summer, III. Presto. I don't know why they did not used Silver's theme on Season V (even in tracked form), probably they preferred to use darker music for Silver instead of the more playfull tone of the theme.
