HALLOWEEN ENDS---new tv spot released for the sequel.

THE MANDALORIAN---Pedro Pascal, who co-starred with Nicolas Cage in THE UNBEARABLE WEIGHT OF MASSIVE TALENT, said he has suggested that Cage appear in THE MANDALORIAN, "I already suggested [it]. I already said he would make a great Mandalorian." Director/producer Rick Famuyiwa asked Pascal if Cage would be receptive to wearing a Mandalorian helmet, and Pascal replied, "He’ll wear a helmet. Absolutely… Or he could be one of the helmet-less."
Pascal added, "I think [Nicolas Cage] would be a great Mandalorian. I think that he's so physical, that he cuts such a great silhouette, he would figure out very artistic ways to execute the role."

BATGIRL---Michael Keaton commented on Warner Bros. Discovery shelving the $90 million movie for tax purposes, “I think it was a business decision. I’m going to assume it was a good one. I really don’t know.” Brendan Fraser added, “The fans really wanted to see this film made. Leslie Grace is a dynamo. The movie was shot and conceived for a smaller screen. In this age that we’ve come out of now between streaming service versus theatrical release, it wound up being the canary in the coal mine. What did we learn from this? Work with trusted filmmakers, like Darren [Aronofsky].”
EMMY AWARDS---the 74th Emmy Awards drew only 5.9 million viewers, which is the lowest audience ever, and was down 19% from last year.
3D MOVIES---James Cameron said 3D movies are not dead yet, “3D appears to most people to sort of be ‘over.’ But it’s really not over. It’s just been accepted. It’s just now a part of your choices when you go to the theater to see a big blockbuster movie … I liken it to color. When color films first came out, it was a big deal. People would go to see movies because they were in color. I think around the time of AVATAR, people used to go to see movies because they were in 3D … I think it had an impact on how films were presented that’s now just sort of accepted and part of the zeitgeist and how it’s done.”
THE STRANGERS---Renny Harlin will direct the trilogy remake of the 2008 movie that starred Lin Tyler and Scott Speedman.
SUPERMAN & LOIS---Atom-Man is the villain in Season 3's premiere.
TRIVIA---Adam West (BATMAN) played an astronaut on Mars in two 1964 roles directed by Byron Haskin (THE WAR OF THE WORLDS).
In the cult classic ROBINSON CRUSOE ON MARS, Haskin directed West as doomed astronaut Col. Dan McReady.
In THE OUTER LIMITS episode "The Invisible Enemy", Haskin directed West, who played astronaut Maj. Chuck Merritt, as he battled monsters who dwell under the Martian surface.
In the cult classic ROBINSON CRUSOE ON MARS, Haskin directed Adam West (BATMAN) as doomed astronaut Col. Dan McReady.

Shouldn't that be Holy 007!?
I agree though, he's sort of the US equivalent of Roger Moore. By sheer coincidence in the last five minutes I watched my copy on dvd of that Outer Limits episode. On the strength of that below par episode I wouldn't imagine he'd have the acting chops to do a big part like Bond.
On the other hand I'm also a third of the way through the third season of Batman. I love his square jawed performance and he would have the same twinkle in his eye of the lighter Moore style Bond. Presumably he'd have been in On Her Majesty's Secret Service. And both West and Moore would have had way more personality than George Lazenby in one of the best in the series. Sadly we'll never know.

I agree. I remember seeing Adam West in old Perry Mason shows, that episode of The Outer Limits, of course Batman, etc., and honestly, to me he came off pretty much the same in each role. His acting as Batman was much more OTT, with a virtual wink, but his mannerisms, delivery of lines, the thoughtful pauses in speaking dramatic phrases and all that really seems interchangeable from one venue to another. I mean, he always seemed to be acting, where the better actors (IMO) perform their roles with a naturalness.
At least his hairline was about the same as Connery and Lazenby's.
