GUILLERMO DEL TORO'S CABINET OF CURIOSITIES---trailer released for the Netflix horror series.

KINGDOM OF THE PLANET OF THE APES---20th Century Studios released art for the latest movie in the franchise with Owen Teague (THE STAND) in the lead ape role. Freya Allen (THE WITCHER) and Peter Macon (THE ORVILLE) play the lead human roles. Wes Ball is the director.
THUNDERBOLTS---Harrison Ford is reportedly Marvel Studios' top candidate to play Gen. Thaddeus "Thundebolt" Ross in the superhero movie. Ford would replace William Hurt, who passed away due to cancer. One source said Marvel Studios was going to announce earlier that Ford was part of the cast, but Lucasfilm head Kathleen Kennedy objected, "They actually wanted to announce him as a cast member in Thunderbolts at D23. But they didn't because Kathy Kennedy put her foot down and said, 'No, we're going to keep the focus on Indiana Jones 5.'"
ARMOR WARS---Marvel Studios decided to develop the Disney+ tv series starring Don Cheadle into a theatrical movie.
ARCHIE---Jason Isaacs will star in the Cary Grant biomovie with Laura Aikman playing his ex-wife Dyan Cannon and Harriet Walker playing his mother Elise Leach.
COMMUNITY---a Peacock movie sequel to the tv series is underway with six cast members returning: Joel McHale, Gillian Jacobs, Ken Jeong, Danny Pudi, Alison Brie and Jim Rash. It is not known if Danny Glover, Chevy Chase and Yvette Nicole Brown are also returning.
DARK WIRE---Jason Bateman will direct this Netflix movie based on the book whose synopsis says, “uncovers the true story of how the FBI launched a fake telecom company and became a phone service provider to some of the world’s most notorious gangs, culminating in the arrest of more than a thousand international criminals."
AMERICAN PIE---Sujata Day will write the script for the latest in the comedy movie franchise.
NOW YOU SEE ME 3---Jesse Eisenberg and Woody Harrelson are returning for the latest sequel with Reuben Fleischer as the director.
TRIVIA---THE NAKED GUN 33 1/3: THE FINAL INSULT's ending is set at the Academy Awards. Director Paul Feig (GHOSTBUSTERS reboot, FREAKS AND GEEKS) has a cameo as a member of the Oscar audience. Feig commented on his cameo, "Yep, that's me, all right. My finest work."
