I received a CDR promo via Daniel Light many years ago for his 1999 score to a Disney Channel kids' movie called DON'T LOOK UNDER THE BED.

When I tried to play it this past weekend, it wouldn't play - it was afflicted with the dreaded CD ROT.

I know this is ancient history (a TV film from 23 years ago), but does anyone have a copy of this score from which they can make me a copy? I'm willing to trade anything that you want that I have or can get.

Sadly, Daniel Licht passed away 5 years ago from sarcoma, so I can't ask him. I tried contacting the folks who were his agent in 1999, but no answer yet.

We FSMers are blessed with such varied resources, so I thought I'd give it a try.

Anyone?

Hey, I'm a huge fan of Don't Look Under the Bed (1999)! I was wondering if there was any update in your search for a copy of the soundtrack.

NO LUCK...from either side of the Atlantic. Collectors, agencies, "shady" sellers, etc.

I haven't tried my last resort: Daniel's widow. It seemed kinda tacky, so I hesitated to do it.

I did find a fan of the film, who was selling a copy of the film transferred from VHS to a flash drive.
Suboptimal, but that's all I could scrape up.

Gotcha, it's cool that you have a copy though. Would you mind posting a picture of the disc if you could? I'm just interested to see how the packaging and artwork looks. Also, I've corresponded previously with the director of the film, so I'll try asking him if there's any way to get a copy of the soundtrack.
