Agree with Thierry: incredible box set. Has arrived today. Gave "First blood" a first listen , the sound is extremly good and detailed (e.g. the razor). Liner notes are first rate but i didn´t expected less.

I really wish I could rationalize this purchase but aside from First Blood, I really don't spin the other two scores.
Neil S. Bulk mentioned this at the Jerry Goldsmith Online Forum Message board about the FIRST BLOOD Track list:
The track titles for "First Blood" differ from all previous releases. While we can't find the manuscript I had the cue sheet, and these are the titles from that document.
I think this will shed some light on the changed titles and maybe the timings. The changes in the arrangement of tracks may be due to the limitation of the LP format or to suit the listening experience. Such as on the YOUNG SHERLOCK HOLMES Vinyl set where the Main Titles open the album instead of the film sequence opening cues.
You are looking at the wrong thread. The CDs are all available as individual releases on the Intrada label who holds the license for the CD format. Try emailing them.
