This Peter Bernstein score really sounds the good old way I like so much. Sort of a crossing between Michael J Lewis, Lee Holdridge, Brian May and father Elmer Bernstein styles... Also not so far from Jerry Goldsmith's BABY at times...

On the positive side. These two scores are my 2 favorite scores by Mr. Bernstein. However the timing of this release is for me not the best. I do love that you released it but I can`t afford buy it since I just came back home to Sweden from my trip to L.A. where I attended Peter Hackman`s Fans of Film Music event and I bought a lot of soundtracks at Amoeba and Creature Features so there is no way that I can afford buying this at this moment. But with that said I am glad that you finally released it even if I am not buying it (for now at least).
Got my imported CD from Music Box at last. 2 months of waiting...but I don't regret it any second.

Some inevitable mimicking of father Elmer style...but it is very well done. End Credits of MIRACLE is fantastic. Pure Elmer Bernstein western/adventure music.
Good orchestral narrative music, with themes, action and lyrical moments. It has everything I so miss from nowadays scoring (except Bear McCeary who is terrific and Henry Jackman who is great).
