I'm hoping that these 3 video releases mean a recording is imminent. A lovely package with both film (*Bluray) and CD would be ideal.

I only wish I was there in person to have experienced this, music sounds fantastic!

Leave it to Christopher Young, the master of "delicious darkness", to conjure up this vast and operatic landscape for a horror film. Very impressive! Did it engage me much? Perhaps not. Especially that descending, two-half-note motif becomes a bit grating to my sensitive ears, but that may speak more to my general predisposition these days than the quality of the music. I had also hoped for a few calmer moments in the suite, but they are presumably elsewhere in the score. Either way, hoping for a recording and release down the line, like everyone else, so that I can get a better understanding of the whole thing. I had a similar impression but remembered this is a suite and they probably wanted to showcase the kinetic rhythmic driven material instead of the creepy quieter music. I’m really hoping for an October 31st announcement

This was just sent to me, by of all people, my brother. He said they used to work together ( or in the same place) in the MOD. https://youtu.be/rXyemUyNdTk?si=gp_PYN3dRSRTLviF I think that guy used to post a lot here on the forum, whenever he had a new video up. Your right - kilt man - he went by, I think. My brother said he used to wear one in all weather!

Don't think we ever actually worked together on the same team, but we certainly went through the same bureaucratic madness! Aye, we'd also get the train from New Brighton. He moved back over to Liverpool if I remember correctly. Cheers Chris Kilt-Man

What do you think? What is the chance that the Chris Young CD announced by Intrada will be Nosferatu? At the moment I can't really think of any other label, except maybe those that release classical music. On December 8th the final release of the year is announced. Fingers crossed for Nosferatu!

Didn't Note for Note announce that a major Christopher Young score would be released on CD a few months ago.

Didn't Note for Note announce that a major Christopher Young score would be released on CD a few months ago. After 'The Offering'?

Didn't Note for Note announce that a major Christopher Young score would be released on CD a few months ago. After 'The Offering'? That was it? I thought it was a major score, not that The Offering was necessarily minor. Edit. The Power, Torment - complete or Nosferatu would fit the bit perfectly.
