In the "Grumpy Old Men" thread I resurrected, a user suggested I try out this film. Yes, I'd never seen the film before.

I'm about 75% of the way into the film now and I'm enjoying it. Humor wise, I'd say it falls in-between "Grumpy Old Men" and it's sequel "Grumpier Old Men".

Anyway, the score is good. I'd also never heard it before either.

Looking online, I see the old Milan soundtrack has about 27/28 minutes of score, and the promo or boot (I have no idea) is 37:02 long. Between the score and original source music in the film, my very very loose calculations/guess work, is probably fifty to sixty minutes of score.

There was no thread I could find other tan one about breaking discs getting it out. Information back then suggested it was out of print.

I think this score is worth of a deluxe treatment by some label.

This is one of my favorite lesser-known/obscure David Newman scores. I would love an expanded edition, but I imagine this is the kind of thing the labels steer away from, unfortunately.

LLL has released a lot of comedy scores, and Varese. I could see this getting an expanded release.

I bought my copy largely for Brent Spiner's singing, but I would like to hear all of Newman's score.
