Are the Original Album Suites on this release unique album recordings made for the original soundtrack, or are they edits of cues from the film? The album track called Early Days In London definitely uses a different version of the Workhouse Chase cue. Whether that's because Barry rewrote the cue for the film and chose his original version for the album, or because he chose to change it specifically for the album, I don't know. John Barry has quite the track record for putting alternate versions of cues on albums. The album of The Last Valley, for instance, seems to have an unused alternate of Vogel Leaves The Valley. Another example is Somewhere In Time, where we now know the album track that was called A Day Together was actually the original, alternate, unused end title. Yet another is Mary Queen of Scots where we now know the album track called But Not Through My Realm was actually the rarely seen overture and interval music. As it is in that track, it was heard nowhere in the film. Cheers
