What a gorgeous cover for THE NIGHT OF THE HUNTER that has been posted. Now if only there is a record label to record the score. Hope springs eternal.

Thank you.

I want this score and I want it with this cover!

The cover is the sublime vision of the cinemaphotographer Stanley Cortez . So much to enjoy in this film besides the music of Walter Schumann.

It's a lovely cover, but naw...

It's missing "Royal Scottish National Orchestra conducted by William Stromberg"! wink

I’ll happily accept that. Are you listening Mr. Stromberg. If Tadlow is unable to do it, why not ?

Bill doesn't need any convincing that it's a worthy score to tackle. It's one he and John Morgan love and have had on their to-do list for years. The problem is that it's a long list and funds are limited, and since sales weren't there to maintain their own Tribute Film Classics label...

Am I correct in observing that THE JUROR by James Newton Howard has never been released??? (even as an unmentionable??)

Two stylistically related Fred Karlin TV scores would make a great double bill:
Death, Be Not Proud (1975) and A Time For Miracles (1980.)

I don't know if it was ever relleased but I heard three tracks of it so far and I love Grusin's music for "Winning"

Grusin you magnificent music monster.

Conjures up a world where I'd so much more want to be.

Two similar sci-fi films/scores that I'd love to see get a release...

Fortress (1993) by Frederic Talgorn [that rare promo release doesn't count]
Lockout (2012) by Alexandre Azaria

or perhaps...

The Long Kiss Goodnight (1996) Alan Silvestri [again, the bootleg doesn't count]
