It's not among my "top 3" Star Trek scores, but I like it a lot. For me, the one that gets the most replays is actually from my least favorite entry: Star Trek: Into Darkness (yes, I add the colon in there because otherwise the title looks damn stupid--just like J.J. Abrams' Khan-switcharoo) Specifically, I enjoy Varese's CD Club deluxe edition and the track "Ode to Vengeance". There's just something that really resonates with me when it gets to the drums intermixed with the short bursts of the French horns (or maybe trumpets? Other than the Vulcan arrival music I can't remember a darn bit of the soundtrack. I even have the Deluxe Edition.
