Since my first viewing of this film; I have always dreamed of hearing the complete score in its entirety. James Newton Howard did a marvellous job at capturing the spirit of and magic of John Williams’ – ‘Hook’ – score!
He knew that people would be comparing his talents to John Williams. And he delivered – (in my opinion). The expanded release will prove it to the nay-sayers.

PJ Hogan's Peter Pan is 10x the movie which Hook wishes it was, and I'm sorry to say for all of those who worship the John Williams' Hook score (rightfully so), but this is a better score. Excited to revisit it with "new ears" if an expansion is indeed forthcoming.
