The first three John Wick films grossed $586 million in total, with each successive film approximately doubling the take of the prior film. It will be interesting to see what this fourth, pandemic-delayed film does.

DEXTER: NEW BLOOD----Showtime cancelled the revival series and is in talks to develop a prequel series about a young Dexter. Season 2 would have featured Dexter's son, Harrison. Theres a relief then. Harrison was a creepy little shit. Wouldnt have sustained a series. The whole point of dexter was you actually liked him.

My god, John Wick 4 is 169 minutes long! I think the original plan was to shoot JW 4 & 5 back to back, & then covid happened. I wonder if they combined both films, as they've said there's no immediate plans to film the next one. If that's the truth, I hope they give at least the SEMBLANCE of an ending to this one, as the "See you in two years...!" cliffhanger (which got extended to four thanks to the Pandemic) at the end of the third one was a real groaner. The second had a cliffhanger as well, but that made more sense at the time, as I was anticipating the filmmakers to cap the series as a finite trilogy. I love these movies, but nearly three hours of non-stop bang-bang and stab-stab has the potential to be numbing. Like Edgar Wright once said, "It's rather like too much chocolate, isn't it...?"
