"RONDO AWARD" NOMINATED FOR "BEST INTERVIEW OF THE YEAR" ... SEND YOUR VOTE NOW (ALONG WITH YOUR NAME) TO TARACO@AOL.COM ... VOTING ENDS ON APRIL 23RD, 2023.

"STARMAN: AN INTERVIEW WITH WRITER, FILM HISTORIAN, AND MUSICOLOGIST, STEVE VERTLIEB"

Renowned British writer, and famed photographer, Mark Mawston, known professionally as "The Rock and Roll Photographer To The Stars" (having photographed such music luminaries at Sir Paul McCartney, Sir Elton John, Eric Clapton, Yoko Ono, and Brian Wilson), as well as multi nominated Rondo Award nominee himself for interviews with such actors as John Richardson and Peter Wyngarde, and personal confidante of Ray Harryhausen, has written his newest published interview. This time, the subject of his work is the life and career of writer, film, and film music historian, Steve Vertlieb.

"WE BELONG DEAD," the prestigious British horror film magazine, issue #31, was published last Fall, and includes a twelve page interview and gracious color layout on the life and times of Mr. Vertlieb. This issue is the last to be edited personally by founding editor, and creator Eric McNaughton, and has been available in England, through mail order in America from "Scary Monsters Magazine," as well as innumerable magazine distributors, and wherever good books and magazines are sold throughout the globe.

Voting for this year's awards concludes on April 23rd. If you'd like to cast your vote for our work as "Best Interview of the Year," simply send your selection, along with your name, to taraco@aol.com

Even if you don't choose to vote, however, I hope sincerely that you may find an opportunity to read the interview, as there are many references to film music, and its revered composers.

Best Wishes,

Steve
