A quick question for Mike (or anyone who knows).
Is there any difference between Track 1/Theme From SABRINA (Extended Version) 5:19 and Track 35/Theme From SABRINA (Reprise) 5:21, other than giving Disc 1 a stylish Opening and Closing?

Since no one ever answered my question I'll ask again since it's been out a while now...

So when it says "Instrumental" does this mean karaoke (where it's the same music just without singing), or actual instrumental (where the music has the full melody on a different instrument or possibily even a rearrangement)?

The piano solo performed by John Williams that makes up the first 3 minutes of both tracks is identical in both.

The remainder of either track is comprised of different performances of the end of the End Credits. As in, different performances from each other, and also different from the performances in the "End Credits" track.

In this case it means that the melody is presented instrumentally rather than vocally.

Let me say Mike that this presentation is just fantastic. The Party Album is a real joy. Listening to it made me want to watch William Powell and Myrna Loy films, which worked out since TCM played Powell films every Wednesday this past month. I recorded a bunch and have been catching up. Class all the way. Both albums just relax you and put you in a good mood. Thank you sir!

Thanks. That seals the deal on needing this.

I always loved this score and the movie. But I haven’t seen the film since the 90‘s. So I did not consider this score in need or actually allowing for an expansion.

I‘m so glad I was wrong.

This is such a marvelous presentation of a score which is probably one of the most enjoyable in film music history.

Yes. The rich melodies are so magnificently applied, varied and developed by Williams, it is pure joy to listen to this uninterrupted flow of happiness, melancholy and hope for a happy ending.

It is truly soul food, nourishing and a total feel good score. A must have.

Thank you so, so much LLL for this unexpected but absolutely necessary addition to your wonderful catalogue.
