EXTRACTION 2---trailer released for the Netflix sequel starring Chris Hemsworth.

HAUNTED MANSION---trailer released for the Disney comedy horror movie.

LINK: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AjLKTz81bj8

KILLER'S GAME---Dave Bautista will star in the Lionsgate comedy action movie based on the novel whose synopsis says, “veteran assassin Joe Flood (Bautista), who is diagnosed with a life-threatening illness and authorizes a kill on himself to avoid the pain that is destined to follow. After ordering the kill, he finds out that he was misdiagnosed and must then fend off the army of former colleagues trying to kill him.”

DEEP WATER---Renny Harlin will direct this movie about an airliner flying from Los Angeles to Shanghai which crash-lands in shark-infested waters.

THE MOTHER---the Netflix assassin movie starring Jennifer Lopez was viewed in 2.8 million households in its first two days. By comparison, GLASS ONION: A KNIVES OUT MYSTERY was viewed in 2.6 million households in its first two days.

CAPTAIN AMERICA 4---WWE star Seth Rollins has joined the sequel cast. Speculation is that Rollins will play a member of the Serpent Society.

SUPERMAN: LEGACY----Rachel Brosnahan commented on rumors she is a top candidate to star as Lois Lane in the superhero movie, "I mean, look, take everything you read on the internet with a grain of salt is my first piece of advice. Look, it would be extraordinary; I grew up watching Lois Lane, this incredibly talented journalist, [who is] far from a damsel in distress and I would jump at the chance if it arose."
Other candidates for Lois Lane are Emma Mackey, Phoebe Dynevor and Samara Weaving. Candidates for Superman include Nicholas Hoult, David Corenswet, Jacob Elordi and Andrew Richardson.

BACK TO THE FUTURE---Michael J. Fox commented on a reboot of the franchise, “I don’t think it needs to be. I think Bob [Zemeckis] and Bob [Gale, co-writer] have been really smart about that. I don’t think it needs rebooting because are you going to clarify something? You’re going to find a better way to tell the story? I doubt it.”
He also commented on if he was asked to star in a fourth movie, "I’m sure somebody thought about it. But I was in the early stages of Parkinson’s at that point, so I don’t know that I would have wanted to take that on. Right after PART THREE had done well, there might have been conversations about it, but I never got involved in them.”
Christopher Lloyd also commented on a fourth movie, “I know at one point they were seriously contemplating a fourth film, but I feel that they made an entire arc with the three movies and that's the story. Maybe if somebody came up with an incredibly unique story for number four, but we've moved on a little bit. So I don't think that's gonna happen, but you never know."

A LEGEND---Jackie Chan will return as archaeology professor Chen in the sequel to the 2005 movie THE MYTH. The sequel has Chen leading ex expedition into the Glacier Palace after finding a pendant that may link reality and dreams.

SHOWTIME---Showtime is in negotiations with Mary-Louise Parker to return in a WEEDS revival and Edie Falco for a NURSE JACKIE revival.

THE CONNORS---ABC renewed the series for Season 6.

HIGH POTENTIAL---Kaitlin Olson will star in this ABC remake of a French tv series whose synopsis says, “HIGH POTENTIAL follows a single mom with an exceptional mind (Olson), whose unconventional knack for solving crimes leads to an unusual and unstoppable partnership with a by-the-book seasoned detective (Daniel Sunjata).”

TRIVIA---before they appeared in the original STAR TREK, James Doohan (Chief Engineer Montgomery Scott) and Majel Barrett (Nurse Christine Chapel) appeared together in the 1962 BONANZA episode "Gift of Water". Doohan played Bill Collins and Barrett played Belle Ganther.

In this day and age she'd have no interest in Superman romantically. She don't need no man/alien.
Long gone are the days when Lois asked, "What color are my panties?"

The music in that indy clip sounds suspiciously like the Mine Car music from Temple of Doom.

I really really hope i’m mis-hearing it (i’m listening to it on an iPad so it’s entirely possible) or it’s a temp track for the clip, rather than Williams doing a Return of the jedi special and just re-scoring stuff from previous movies.

What Ive noticed after several listens is how the music is kinda static and doesn't change with the action on screen. Like when the bad guys start shooting at the granddaughter, classic Williams would've change the tune to something more dramatic signaling the danger of the moment. Think of the truck chase in Raiders when Indie got shot in the arm and the music suddenly changes to this "Oh Sh*t! This got serious" moment.

Watched it again and you’re spot on.

I think it’s safe to say this probably isn’t going to be classic Williams. His scores for the first three Indy movies are up there in my top 25 but i can’t even remember any of the music from Crystal Skull at all (apart from the lacklustre version of the Raiders march at the end).

Exactly, same with the Disney Star Wars films. They do their job providing a musical underscore for the films but don't underscore the ebbs and flows of the scenes.

It feels more like a "Basket Chase" moment.
