Yeah just had this on my phone. Only 58. Sad. Very good as Pullo in the series Rome, a pirate in Black Sails and in the Das Boot series as a tough destroyer captain.
This one hit me too. I was first very impressed with him in his turn as The Punisher (Warzone, I think). Now, so soon after he turns in what looks like an inspiring role in Ahsoka... very jarring, very unfortunate. As with Lance Reddick and the Black Panther fellow (Boseman?), way too soon.
At the time of the The Punisher however, I seem to recall a tale told of a fight with cancer.
