Michael Mann's latest film, "Ferrari", is currently in post production. Some composers might not enjoy working with him but I always love the way he uses music in his films. So very curious who will end up scoring this one.
Elliot Goldenthal recently posted a few pics of him recording something without specifying what. Could he be scoring "Ferrari"? I would certainly love to see him and Mann reunite.
I would love to see Goldenthal score this. It would be something to look forward to.
I have no idea if it is a film score that Goldenthal is working on based on these photos that his official social media accounts have shared... i'm not getting my hopes up.
It's probably just a coincidence. But I saw that update from him on social media; it's delightful to see him back in the studio again, whatever the project is.
Remember, Mann typically goes threw three or four composers, and then mangled up bits from all of them in the end. Who knows who will be the composer up until around the end.
