Thx to those in my recent Scarface (2-CD, La-La Land) thread that informed me of this recent release. It has been on the same personal and decades-old "dream list", with that Scarface set.
Took DHL delivery of it directly from Quartet (Spain) yesterday. It was not cheap, but fast delivery and very well packed.
I'll try to post some photos soon.
This is one hell of a release! I have no idea how Quartet got a-hold of such high-quality elements -- especially of CD 1 (the never-before-released orig film sndtrk), but its mastering is top-notch. Amazing that these ancient, original elements were preserved and have not faded or suffer analog (magnetic) print thru. Maybe they were orig digital or were digitized from multi-track in 1984 (ADD)??? If they were JUST converted to digital from orig analog ... then ... hmmm ... lots of possibilities for high-rez or DSD release (ditto for Scarface or any other recent analog transfer; all mastering gear --even cheap laptop soundcards -- offer 24 or 32/192 and likely Quartet and La La have them in this format).
The liner notes are well written and extensive. And they also indicate that much of the prodcution team for this release is from the US -- D. Goldwasser, et al [https://www.mulhollandmusic.com/Engineers/Doug%20Schwartz/ ]
Not sure why and American movie OST project was off-shored to Quartet in Spain?
In any case ... nice work to all involved in the project ! And I like my limited 1500 dual-CD release just fine. BUT ... an easy, next move would be for a high-rez (hdtracks) release 
P.S. haven't yet listened to CD2, the OST as I already have this on 2017 VSD CD, orig Casablanca LP and 1984 CD.
I have measured DR via the Foobar tool. Stay tuned ...
