Perhaps one of the most important unreleased vintage Schifrin scores. There was years ago talk about incomplete tapes, but could a release possible today with modern mastering technology? Filling the gaps using stems?

Just so the labels know (when this doesn't sell out and they're sitting on lots of unsold stock) I don't want this score as much as AMITYVILLE 2 THE POSSESSION. It's never been a particular favourite (apart from the jazz/thriller bits that remind me of late 60s early 70s John Williams). So okay...yeah...

Yes!This would be a seller I think. Still lots of unreleased stuff by Schifrin. Too bad the focus lies more on the 90ies and 2000s these days when it comes to releasing stuff .But we had this discussion

Ford A. Thaxton if that is true then it is a great pity. Probably his best score along with Dirty Harry and we had to wait over 35 years for that to be released .

Cool Hand Luke is Schifrin's opus magnun IMHO - closely followed by Dirty Harry and Charley Varrick. Love that bass line in the opening cue of the first Dirty Harry score!
