It does have plenty to offer and is more good than not. And the most negative I have said ( and still say) is that there is, literally, 3( maybe 4) tracks that I really don't like ( as a listening experience). Now I think that is pretty good going.

Roberto Pregadio is credited as well on the 7" single for La Ragazzola. So I was a bit surprised that he was not credited for the Quartet release, but perhaps the 7" credit from 1965 is mistake. No, this wasn´t a mistake at all. The SIAE database also credits both Mussolini and Pregadio as co-composers for LA RAGAZZOLA. At least three tracks from LA RAGAZZOLA have also already been on the BPM Score Music Series albums 3007 ("Love Themes") and 3019 ("Italian Life") about 20 years ago. As you can see here these tracks had also been credited to Mussolini and Pregadio: https://www.universalproductionmusic.com/en-de/search?q=romano%20mussolini&qtext=romano%20mussolini&vtag=0&vwave=0&vdesc=1&ktype=6 You have to keep in mind that Mussolini - by the way he was the third son of the Italian dictator Benito Mussolini - hadn´t studied composition, but originally was a sef-taught pianist and jazz musician. Therefore he needed the support of someone who had really studied composition and who could write for an orchestra. During the 60s this was always Pregadio whereas for the two films he did later on in 1974 and 1992 he had the professional help of Federico Santucci (who had of course also studied composition).

Captain Also my opinion/like of that score may have been hampered a smidgen by that fact that there were 6 discs, 9 scores to plough through. I may appreciate it a bit more next time, like you say, when in the mood.
