I would love an expansion of this. I understand the argument about it being a lesser listening experience, but it would satisfy those of us who like to have a C&C edition. Besides, the synths in the film versions of "Bond 77" are far superior to those on the album.

This is the argument for dual-format presentations: C&C and original album assembly.

I agree with earlier sommentators that the complete score presentation is going to sound like a short album of advert medleys, because of the amount of short cues.

But, you know, the film version of Ride To Atlantis, for all its thirty seconds or whatever it is, blows the slowed down and stretched out album version away.

Cheers

I would imagine the C+C score with film versions would be an odd listen, as the tracks are short and don't really connect to each other that well. It's also pretty short I'd imagine, probably ~45 minutes. This is likely why the composer refuse to release it that way.

We'll take the film version of the score + the album version, thank you.
I'm sure i'll find it a great listen
Proof that a movie doesn't need wall to wall music
Probably fits on one CD too

But could somebody please hurry, it's only been 45+years
With the recent Bond hiatus, it's the moment to release some now !

Definitely one for 2027.

I would buy it too, but I have tempered my expectations somewhat.
