Scratch this.

I totally missed the posts about the two BF projects that were delayed and answered my own question wondering what happened when I went looking back through the thread.

Oy. Too much turkey yesterday I guess. embarrassment

Yep me too. Nice batch there. They’re never going to please everyone ( certainly not on this List!). We’ve got to remember its a business for them and not just what we want. Im always disappointed that HIGHLANDER never appears in these things but there’s no point in endlessly banging on about it ( like the Bond scores… they know….they know!)
Very happy to get HOOK after getting conned last year on Ebay.

What?? Worse comment of this entire thread ever for sure!
Rather stupid and rude by the way.
Totally direspectful for Hanry Mancini and Maurice Jarre's estate and legacy.

A big ouch moment for me and my wallet. Not only did I 'need' to order Zorro, Sneakers and Hook, but I also had backlog of Battle, Humanoids, Windtalkers and Deadly. And there's still stuff in my SAE wishlist that needs clearing!

Yeah, Sartoris, that comment was bafflingly insane. For goodness sake, even just thinking about ti -- where's the yard stick for length of time that make something an archeological time piece? Hook is over thirty years old. The Mask of Zorror is over twenty. Not to mention many of the James Bond films...

I am happy about La-La Lands' continued efforts to release these scores and hope they are all good sellers and nice profits for the company.

As long as the Bond scores have been archived digitally and won't be lost to time, I'm hopeful that Amazon and EON have been pleased with LLL efforts and are open to letting them do more. Barbara and Michael can take all the time they need for the next Bond and film.

I am debating whether to place my order or wait until the New Year. MV has mentioned that the 2 BF titles have been delayed until the New Year, I am sure LLL will update us soonish on the revised dates.

It is shipping costs to the UK which is always an added factor when deciding on placing orders.

MV originally posted;

Of the 8 titles that were heading toward the finish line, 6 of them managed to cross it in time, meaning 2 of those planned BF titles are coming out in 2024 (hopefully 1st quarter)

So that means 6 titles made the cut.

But wait -- there's more!

We just got rights to a new film coming out so that too will be part of the Black Friday batch taking the total to 7 titles!

Then he posted this a few days later:

Sadly 2 projects are not happening for BF. They won't be in from the manufacturer in time and we don't want folks waiting too long on their orders.

So, that means a more reasonable 5 titles coming out.
So unless my Maths is wrong wont that be 4 titles that didn't make BF coming out next year!?

it's not that complicated math, is it?

8-2+1-2 = ?

2 of those planned titles are possibly still stuck in approvals so perhaps they might be ready in a couple of weeks/months or perhaps next black friday.
The other two are (being?) manufactured or on the way to LLL - with all others not shipping until Dec 1, I am wondering if it was really necessary to hold a title (possibly tied with its worldwide release date) for another month or two frown Unless they won't get done for another few weeks.

I am holding my 600 EUR order from Music Box until the last Intrada is released and hopefully we'll hear something about Quartet soon.
