its like much better version of james newton howards filmscore.but the album is missing soo many highlights.my favorite when he transforms into kyoshi is also missing.
The show was a self aggrandizing “produce/write/direct by committee” affair, the same problems that plagued the recent Star Wars shows to varying degrees (and absolutely torpedoed Obi-Wan). In other words it’s completely soulless. Katara, somehow, was reduced to background noise in particular. The only kind thing I have to say is that it’s not the Shymalan affair for which we never speak of.
How a score this engaging escaped something so completely devoid of personality is beyond me but it certainly speaks to Furukawa’s talent. Definitely rooting for him.
