Inventive composer outside of films, as well. I have a latin jazz album of his with imaginative writing. Also liked the Greek music in his score for The Arrangement.
David is extraordinarily gifted and continues to perform in concerts around the world. He appeared alongside Willie Nelson at Farm Aid a month or so ago, and performed Friday night, November 17th, on his 93rd birthday at a special concert in New York City.
Wonderful composer known mainly for THE MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE but SPLENDOR IN THE GRASS should get more attention. Great meeting him and attending his concert at Zebulon just a few blocks from me.
