Maybe at this price? https://www.montblanc.com/en-us/fountain-pens_cod29419655932744821.html Maybe Indiana Jones used a pen like this to sketch the golden idol! Yes, apparently expensive, limited edition fountain pens are "a thing"--for some people. They definitely are. I certainly love expensive and fine fountain pens, even though I personally do not spend hundreds of dollars on one either. Just way too pricey for me. But I sure like them. I sometimes stop by a Montblanc shop in the Netherlands not too far far from where I live to test out writing with such an expensive pen. And I love that obviously at least some people buy them, so such finely crafted writing tools continue to be made. Of course, you can enjoy writing with an wonderfully made fountain pen for much less, which is what I personally do. (I personally use a Rotring fountain pen for some of my writings, which is excellently made, metal, feels well and weighty, but cost only around a $100.- or so... don't remember, have it now for many years.)

Or your 25th anniversary gift from your sh*t employer. And being a pen, it never works. I got one, once, for service length. I'm still waiting for them to send me the ink.
