Thanks for posting this EdG!smileI would have posted it myself but I've been watching it over and over again since it came out. FURY ROAD is my all time favorite film and this, to me, looks just as good if not better. It's amazing that George Miller, my favorite director, is capable of this at 78 years old. This is inspired!

Cool! I really dig Fury Road (film and score), so this is something to look forward to. I'll refrain from watching the trailer though, as I prefer to go into the theater with as few hints and spoilers as possible.

Surprisingly un-obnoxious trailer. What looks like some striking compositions and colour grading (set in a green screen hellscape, unfortunately). Holkenberg doesn't interest me.

That was the part of the trailer that made me sad. The last one was so stunning because so much of it was practical and looked it, and the minimal effects blended seamlessly.

This one looks very greenscreen-heavy. frown

Maybe it's just the trailer, and the finished movie will look better. smile

It doesn't help looking at these trailers on phone screens or YouTube compression. I'm excited to see this trailer on the big screen because it's a great and exciting trailer.

Count me intrigued too, as another fan of FURY ROAD (both film and score).

You're on a roll with these short, negative replies, AdoKrycha. Having a bad day?

I don't have any problem with the green screen or cgi in the trailer, frankly I don't even notice it that much. Also, FURY ROAD had some too. And the film is supposed to look cleaner especially the vehicles they're 15 years younger. I'm so excited for this film it looks spectacular!

I'm pretty sure it is just a bit of something? Can't say I've ever seen this username post anything other than short bursts of moronic negativity. I am at the point where I assume it is satire.

It's history repeating itself - Frity Road trailer got the same skepticism about overly CG, blahblahblah and the movie shut down everyone (including ME). Don't believe the gripe!

Part of the difficulty here is that a lot of the cutting edge style and techniques George used and expanded since the first film have become so much a part of the main stream and so copied that they are not edgy at all anymore, they have become cliched. It is somewhat a victim of its own success. Inexperienced viewers will think that this film borrowed this style from films that came much after the films in which George invented this super stylized film experience. I am sure it will be a good film though.

Yes, it looks great. However, it is hard for me to see Chris Hemsworth as a very evil bad ass.

Can someone please explain the Mad Max universe to me?

Mad Max. A revenge story. A road cop whose wife and kid get killed. Revenge is taken. Max becomes mad.

Mad Max 2: How is this world so different from the first movie? Weird cars. Weird people. Max is getting fuel for people and sacrifices himself so that others can live.

Mad Max 3: We don’t need another Hero. Max has long hair now but saves the kids and ruins Tina Turner’s Barter Town. Not sure if we’re in the same universe as Mad Max I. Car chase ensues. Max saves the day via sacrifice.

Mad Max Fury Road: What the actual f**k is going on???

Furiosa: I give up.

It‘s basically the same story told differently and with escalating budgets.
