Yeah, could be done for all composers, not only oldtimers. I did a similar series of threads on Williams, Elfman, Goldenthal and Horner, so surprised it didn't catch on then.
Love Beltrami, but it's with him like everyone else. First I need to curate my collection of all of his work, and after that I'll go explore the unreleased. But yes -- all the Bornedals should get a proper release.
If REPO MEN got released, people would know where Tom Holkenborg got his Fury Road descending action motif.
Actually, comes more far back, The Lion King.
More concrete, Stampede.
I see what you mean. But it's less striking in the case of The Lion King (short bursts, but never descends that much). Plus, Marco Beltrami was assigned to score Fury Road at some point, so it's conceivable that "Massive Raid" from Repo Men was used in the temp at some point.
None of the concert works have been released as far as I know... except occasionally some of them became basis for tracks in a couple of scores.
The plan with Bach by Beltrami was to have some live performances first and release it later... so far there has been only the premiere... I have suggested it to Prague Proms, but perhaps it is way too complicated/expensive with all the soloists needed...
I also have the soundtrack album of Ford v Ferrari: Le Mans '66, featuring three tracks by Beltrami/Sanders. I wish so much for the release of the score version !

These are the ones I personally am interested in to get a release.
