Absolutely love xXx: State of the Union. Given that Revolution Studios is owned by Paramount, I’m holding out some hope for an official release.

Yeah, could be done for all composers, not only oldtimers. I did a similar series of threads on Williams, Elfman, Goldenthal and Horner, so surprised it didn't catch on then.

Love Beltrami, but it's with him like everyone else. First I need to curate my collection of all of his work, and after that I'll go explore the unreleased. But yes -- all the Bornedals should get a proper release.

There is one major score (if not more) coming from Intrada... so hopefully one more grail can be crossed off the list some time in 2024.

Vikaren - i think Mikael Carlsson tried to release it but at that time there was no interest from the production company... who knows who owns it now.

If REPO MEN got released, people would know where Tom Holkenborg got his Fury Road descending action motif.

Underwater was released on CD by Varese. Many also are in need of expansion. Such as God's Of Egypt.

Actually, comes more far back, The Lion King.

More concrete, Stampede.

I see what you mean. But it's less striking in the case of The Lion King (short bursts, but never descends that much). Plus, Marco Beltrami was assigned to score Fury Road at some point, so it's conceivable that "Massive Raid" from Repo Men was used in the temp at some point.

Honestly, is far noticiable in the Lion King (Beltrami got the idea from there? ;p) than Repo Men.

Was his Bach by Beltrami ever released? I remember reading a release was planned:

None of the concert works have been released as far as I know...
except occasionally some of them became basis for tracks in a couple of scores.

The plan with Bach by Beltrami was to have some live performances first and release it later... so far there has been only the premiere... I have suggested it to Prague Proms, but perhaps it is way too complicated/expensive with all the soloists needed...

Hi everyone,

I own five albums of Mr. Beltrami :

  • Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines
  • I, Robot
  • Live free or Die Hard
  • Knowing
  • A Good Day to Die Hard

I also have the soundtrack album of Ford v Ferrari: Le Mans '66, featuring three tracks by Beltrami/Sanders. I wish so much for the release of the score version !
