If the Oscars aren't already ridiculous enough, now they're imposing absurd eligibility standards. Would THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK be disqualified under the new rules?
The Oscars are a joke. Back to the Future and Batman didn’t even get a nomination, Superman: The Movie, Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Empire Strikes Back and Memoirs of a Geisha didn’t win.

Well, it makes sense that you would think that, being who you are.
They are beyond a joke now. When previous winners won BECAUSE of pre-existing music (ROUND MIDNIGHT, BABEL). And I read an interview with some composer recently who said the work actually dried up after he'd won one (Bill Conti?). It was someone big.
I have it - it's great. Interesting that Intrada is carrying a Mutant title. It's a "Special Edition" but not a limited edition if that's important.
Well, Intrada started out as a music retail outlet. And they still sell other labels...
I appreciate that. I was surprised that Mutant was allowing another online retailer to sell their products. It's a very good release and I recommend it.
