You shouldn't just give up and give them foul money. How else will they learn that substandard LPs are not acceptable and maybe mention a CD release, which would yield superior sound. I'd kick up a stink just to annoy them and shine a light on their lacklustre products.

You're right but I kinda missed the boat now. I was so scunnered and demoralised by getting a 2nd crap disc that I gave up... probably shouldn't have but, cause it took forever getting from the US, I just thought 'sod it!'. Its not that great a soundtrack anyway but its maddening that the the bit I'd have wanted best was that first section on the first LP. Ah well.....
At the very least, you should leave some withering feedback with them about shoddy pressings and sound and how a CD release would have swerved any of that. These labels think we all just stroke our chin beards and frame the LPs on the walls of our brick interior apartments.
