First impressions after my first complete play through. Very solid listening experience. Nice prog-rock vibe throughout, excellent production values and nods to (the aforementioned) Queen, G'n'R, Metallica plus Elfman in operatic mode and of course, Bear McCreary's own spectacular talent. The moments when he brings forth the might of his orchestral forces (much more so during Disc 2) are really good and I know I will enjoy this whole shebang more and more, with repeated plays. So, highly recommended, but obviously with caveats regarding your rock/opera/metal tolerances.
