I haven't bought any Iwashiro in a while. I like what I have ( about 15 discs). Some that spring to mind- semishigure, Tidal Wave and a lovely one that has a blue cover with a white horse on it- I can't remember it's title in English.

Thanks for the report, Alain! As a matter of fact I also attended the Ghent festival this year. It was my first and I must say it was an amazing experience! At the Meet & Greet I was really surprised how approachable and friendly all the participating composers were. Talking with Natalie Holt and Carlos Rafael Rivera was just like talking with a pal of yours, I mean they were super friendly. But all the other composers were really, really nice. I had a short chat among others with Rombi, Goldenthal, Franglen and with the Baldenweg siblings whose score for In the Land of Saints and Sinners is one of my favourite recent scores. They are funny guys, too (Nora was sadly missing from the Meet & Greet but she was present at the composer talk event later). The discussions at the Kinepolis I went to were also great and enlightening (the round table with the nominees, the one with Goldenthal and later with Sarah and Emily Horner, Horner's widow and daughter) As for the concerts, what you wrote is true, the Rombi-Goldenthal concert was unforgettable, in my case, mostly because of Rombi's music but I have to admit I really enjoyed Goldenthal's music too, particularly the Finale from Titus and the suite from Alien3. But hearing Rombi's music live was a treat. The performance of "I'm dreaming of Home", I must admit, brought tears to my eyes... I'm looking for your report on the Horner concert too, which was also good - but not great, in my opinion. My comments in the Horner concert topic.
