The actor was best remembered for his 1970s TV work on Planet of the Apes and Land of the Lost. Harper died on March 21, aged 91.

Poor Ron ended up in so many shows that never lasted more than a season. In the 60s he was also a regular on "87th Precinct" (1961-62), "Wendy And Me" (1964-65) and "The Jean Arthur Show" (1966-67).

IIRC, Ron Harper's Mego PotA action figure was subsequently reused for the company's Hutch action figure. I hope Ron got paid for both!
