Assumng this release is Goldfinger, the remaining priorities for me would actually be: 1 The Man With The Golden Gun and Moonraker (tie). Golden Gun because of the amount of unreleased music, and that it's the last score with echoes of the classic era 007 sound, and Moonraker, because its the best Moore-era 007 score. 3. A View To A Kill, as, then, the last Barry Bond not expanded at all. 4. Thunderball redux, as the previously expanded score with the most still unreleased music. (I might even rank it above VTAK.) 5. OHMSS redux, as the previously expanded score with the next most still unreleased music. 6. The Living Daylights redux, as the previously expanded score with the next most still unreleased music. 7. The Spy Who Loved Me. Yes, it's a short score that does a lot of temp track copying, but I love it. 8. Licence To Kill. And then any of the others. Cheers

Dang, not really a Licence to Kill fan I guess Stephen? It’s never been expanded at all and has certainly got a lot more previously-unreleased music than most on your list above it. Yavar

LTK has over 40 minutes of unreleased music if I remember correctly. The most of all Bond scores.

Cheers Yes have to agree with your above list Stephen of expanded Bond Scores in this order that need expanding, but would be happy with any new Bond expanded scores. It really is a worthwhile project the Expanded Bond scores as James Bond is such a massive franchise & they need this expanded treatment as a proper record of the music in these films for the archives & for the passionate Bond Music fans who so love the music & currently are missing so much unreleased music from so many of the James Bond films that have yet to be Expanded. Here’s hoping for good news on the 1st October & hopefully more expanded scores before the end of 2024.

Yavar I don't dislike it, and in fact I'd certainly buy it, but my list is about what's the best music, not what's the most music.

Moonraker is missing loads tbf - many of the cues on the score CD are alternates - not the film takes. Corrine Put Down and Flight Into Space being the most obvious. There's no evidence these were specially recorded for the album. It could be a different take. That wouldn't be unheard of. But IT may also just be a slightly different mix. There's about 10 minutes of unreleased score music as heard in the film. Cheers

I always like different versions of the same tracks, because they usually represent the vision of the composer or producers. Of course, this can't always be released, they don't always even exist in the archives. The expansion of albums should not be a matter of taste, but of how much there actually is to expand. Hence, for example, LTK's extension would be much better than Goldfinger's, because the difference in the missing number of minutes of unreleased music is colossally greater with Kamen. Of course, the music label does not always have a choice, it often gets an offer it cannot refuse. That's why I never ask labels for things that I know won't interest anyone, because the label also has to sell the product, not to satisfy my ego, because they don't make records just for me. That's why I'm always amused by requests from people who ask for some title that no one in the world has ever heard of, except the asker.
