Yes, Apple+ TV is releasing a series based off of the 1981 film.

Mothersbaugh recorded his scored last year and Tim Jones (who has been working with him for years now) provided additional music.

TIME BANDITS---trailer released for the Apple TV+ tv series starring Lisa Kudrow and based on the 1981 fantasy movie.

Apple TV+ cancelled the series. Just this one season (which dropped in July).
