Always enjoyed Jerry Immel’s music. Another fine release from our good friends at BSX.:-)

It's a really terrific score... I had a nice talk with the composer while I was working on this project. What an amazing career... And if you're familiar with the movie, the film mix was not fantastic. It sounds much better away from the film.

Fantastic news! Always loved the Goldsmith feel to this score. Great to hear it is in stereo too. Ordered! Thank you BSX!

Bsx best release ever.
Very decent score, brilliant film, long overdue.

Bronson great in this. Has some good lines too.

Here's the opening with main titles. Immel creates a good atmosphere for the snowy wastelands.

Immel is synonymous with DALLAS for me, and I don't think I've heard anything else by him. At least not consciously. Should be interesting to hear something else.

This sounds great, from the Main Titles posted by Bill. Never seen the film. I never cared much for the DALLAS theme, but I recall that Immel's work on the '70s miniseries "How the West Was Won" was pretty epic.

That is a lot of testosterone there...

Maybe you only heard the version used in France...

This score is very Jerry Fielding adjacent. It has that dissonant strings feeling that much of Fielding's work had: Lawman, The Mechanic, Straw Dogs...

Yeah I personally hear more Jerry Fielding than Jerry Goldsmith in the available samples and Main Title video. Maybe even a bit of 70s Williams sound! Good stuff.

Fun fact: Jerry Fielding sponsored Jerrold Immel's entry into the Composers and Lyricists Guild of America.

WTF is that French Dallas thing above.
Is that real?
Is that how the French heard the Dallas credits music?
WHY???

Some TV series when they went over seas, for what ever reason, had completely different theme done for them by another composer. Some shows even re-scored. I seem to recall "CHiPs", for example, was re-scored in one country.
