Great release. I loved the score for Suburban Commando since I saw the film in the theatre but I never thought that it would ever get released..

CALL ME sounded nice, in that Michel Colombier/Trevor Jones/Pino Donaggio kind of way. Michael Boddicker performs on synthesizers.

It shoudl start shipping very shortly and Mr. Frank will be auotgraphing some booklets. Yeah Ford A. Thaxton Amazing! I'm ecstatic over this news! The soundtrack event of the year! Thank you to Ford and the team and David Michael Frank for making this happen. Poison Ivy is one of DMF's very best scores with those mysterious beautiful strings. Call Me! Oh my! Ray has talked before how great this one is and I wholeheartedly concur. It has my favorite DMF theme! Moody and sultry with fantastic synths. Suburban Commando! A delightful surprise here. I was also one of those kids that saw this film opening weekend and so badly wanted a full CD or cassette of the score. Finally! I've never seen Going Under but the samples sound excellent.

I bought the digital download the day before yesterday. To say that this set is excellent is to say nothing! This is simply fantastic. To receive two scores (Poison Ivy and Call Me), which I dreamed of receiving, is a real holiday for my soul. I’m not at all familiar with Suburban Commando and Going Under, but since they were included in the set, I decided to listen to them in full too. And surprisingly, I liked both of them, especially “Commando”. The score is very cheerful and cheerful, with a lush orchestral scope. As for Poyson Ivy and Call Me... Ivy's main theme is magnificent and poignant. The string parts are incredible, especially on the high notes. Frank approached the score very responsibly and seriously. In the notes to the booklet, the composer said that working on this score was the most difficult. Although this is essentially an orchestral score, it contains electronic elements and pop beats. Listening to the entire score separately from the film is such a joy! Call Me - cool synth score with a powerful main theme on saxophone! It's a pity that it's quite short, only 20 minutes. Overall sound quality is good, with only a few tracks from Call Me having some crackling. Maybe it's just my version… It's so great to get these jewels. David Michael Frenu is an underrated composer. Thanks to Ford Thaxton and David Michael Frank for making this amazing release possible!
