John Debney Scoring Alex Woo’s Netflix Animated Film ‘In Your Dreams’
John Debney (The Passion of the Christ, The Jungle Book, Elf, Iron Man 2, Hocus Pocus, The Emperor’s New Groove) is composing the original score for the upcoming Netflix original animated film In Your Dreams. The movie is directed by Alex Woo (Go! Go! Cory Carson), co-directed by (The Good Dinosaur) and features the voices of Simu Liu and Craig Robinson. The animated comedy tells the story of two siblings who journey into the absurd landscape of their own dreams as they try to make their ultimate dream of a perfect family come true. Woo also co-wrote the screenplay with Benson based on a story by himself and Stanley Moore. Timothy Hahn and Gregg Taylor are producing the project. In Your Dreams will premiere in 2025 on Netflix.
The film also features “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)” by Eurythmics and “Enter Sandman” by Metallica (performed by Weezer in the film) on its dreamy soundtrack.
