Short-lived series from 1977.

All episode scored are by Robert Prince except two (as will be noted). Theme music is also by him,

Attention readers: I have been using a system that is nothing more than a note to myself; for cues that I want to include in a suite one day, for now on I will denote them with ^ symbol. It has no special meaning to anyone else but myself. No, the lack of an up arrow symbol doesn't mean the cue is bad (it just may have too much SFX or FX for suite use or just isn't worth my time to edit and include). Hence forth this system will be in all future threads and pre-exiting threads that I go back to for missed episodes. Anything in ( ) are just notes to the arrow and you need not bother with that. The system does not mean that I will make a suite or that one has been made, it's simply for my own reference if and when I do decide to.

I like Robert Prince theme for the show since I first heard it, about 45 years ago or something....

I was so happy when the series set was released a few years ago on UK DVD - I pre ordered it! It's great, had limited memories of it from back in the day and loved rewatching it as an (ostensible) adult now!

This is one title I'm surprised hasn't been released.

It's a fondly remembered series but unsurprised a CD of scores hasn't bee forthcoming. I was surprised when it got the UK DVD release. I thought I'd never see it again apart from ropey vids on Youtube.

This episode has two questions: Why do androids need cloths? If the answer is to keep them from being naked, then the second question comes to mind: Why would androids have human nudity to cover? And now that I am thinking about it -- if only one person there is a real human, why would he care if the androids are naked or not? And he created them, so why would he design them to be naked human bodies? Female AND male...

Then, of course, the victory of the episode is that the slave androids are now back in the possession of their slave masters. Yaaay.

That's all I would take away from this episode, on a CD of scoring. The episode is nearly continuously scored, crossfading into source cues and back out, with meandering cues going nowhere and offering little but service to the episode.

Oh yeah. One thing I learned from various TV series from 1966 to the late 1980's: anything technological, futuristic, or alien, will inevitably sound like the Enterprise bridge or the computer sounds from K.I.T.T. from "Knight Rider".
