Was sure Korven is scoring Nosferatu. Edit- Just looked on IMdB- weird. I could swear Korven was initially attached to this. What a shame. His score would have been amazing.

"Was sure Korven is scoring Nosferatu" -------------------- I don't know what happened between LIGHTHOUSE and NORTHMAN, but he opted for Carolan on the latter and appears to be sticking with him. While I don't enjoy any of the scores OUT OF CONTEXT, they provide a stark, powerful atmosphere within the films themselves. My interest in this film has now plummeted. Horror in particular is dependant on a strong score, especially this subject matter. Oh well, just saved me $20 from catching it in theatres. Will wait for streaming. This must be a recent change however since I had spoken to Korven's management about an interview when Nosferatu was to be released. They never indicated he wasn't on the project. This was in April.

Film doesn't look appealing to me at all, based on the trailer.

Film doesn't look appealing to me at all, based on the trailer. I would have seen it if Mark Korven scored it. But now... not so much. Eggers' other films benefitted terrifically from Korven's moody, atmospheric and at times, terrifying music.
