Are you talking about Best Film in relation to the score he wrote for it, or just a Favourite Film regardless of score, Henry? I enjoyed the first 4 ROCKY and first 2 KARATE KID films quite a bit and the scores added vital elements to that enjoyment. I LOVE his replacement score to A PRAYER FOR THE DYING, but the film is more a guilty pleasure than any great art of cinema. ESCAPE TO VICTORY is cheesy fun, but pap otherwise. FIST is a fantastic score but the film is merely decent. I enjoy his derivative score for THE RIGHT STUFF but never really liked the film that much. His NORTH & SOUTH scores are EPIC, but the show is just enjoyable/soapy Mills & Boon Bodice-Ripping stuff. None of the films he's scored are what I would call 'Personal All-Time Faves' aside from the ROCKY/KARATE KID ones, which I do really like.
The Right Stuff (Wishing for the tapes to be found) Rocky ( Selections from the various films in the franchise) North and South ( What I’ve heard of the score) Masters of the Universe (A real Star Wars style bangers)
